Compare ceramic materials: stoneware vs porcelain vs bone china.

Ceramic tea cup and saucer sets manufactured in Liling, China — porcelain, new bone china and stoneware bodies for tea brands, hotels, gift programmes and private-label retail, from 500 sets per design.

Cup styles and capacities

Western tea cups run 180-250 ml with a wide rim to release aroma; Chinese gongfu cups sit at 40-80 ml; and mug-style tea cups with infuser and lid run 300-400 ml. Saucers are matched in coupe or rim profile, with an indented well so cups sit securely on service trays.

Body and translucency

New bone china gives the highest whiteness and translucency for premium tea presentation; porcelain offers a harder, more chip-resistant body for hospitality service; stoneware suits earthier, hand-made ranges. Gold or platinum rim banding, embossed relief and hand-painted florals are all produced in-house.

Gift and retail packaging

Sets are packed in rigid gift boxes, printed sleeves or window cartons with moulded pulp or foam inners, drop-test verified before shipment. Packaging artwork is printed to your files and can carry barcodes and country-of-origin marking for retail.

Compliance and lead time

All sets meet FDA, LFGB, EU 1935/2004 and Prop 65 food-contact requirements, including lead and cadmium migration testing on decorated and metal-banded items. Samples ship in 7-15 days; bulk production runs 30-45 days plus ocean transit.
